Exhale's Guide to Stealth Vaping & 15% Discount

Back in June 2014 we posted a guest blog post on the subject of Stealth Vaping. We thought it a good time to revisit the subject and to discuss with you the ways and why-fors of vaping in stealth mode.

Before we begin discussing vaping in a clandestine and furtive manner, we want to make it absolutely clear, that Exhale is not ashamed of vaping. In fact the very opposite is true. We're proud to be vapers, we love it and are thankful to have discovered vaping. We're proud too that we've been part of many hundreds of peoples successful journeys and hope to go on doing so for many years to come.

However, all that said, we would be foolish to think that there won't be times when one might want (need) to vape unobtrusively. We've been conditioned to frown upon smokers and mud sticks. If you look like you're smoking, even though you are not, well sometimes, it just isn't cricket.

So let's tell you how to stealth vape. There are three methods we know of:

Method One:

This involves taking an inhale as normal and then simply holding it in your lungs for a short time before exhaling slowly and gently.

Go on, even  if you vape with a mega sub ohm device or a multi coiled self-built RBA or RTA atomiser capable of producing great plumes of dense clouds try it now. Was the vapour cloud you'd normally produce reduced, or did it disappear entirely?

Method Two:

This is very similar to the first, except that this time without exhaling at all, you need to take a second breath of air in. If you lung-inhale, leave a little room for that second breath in. Then just like before, hold both breaths together in your lungs, then gently exhale.

Give this method a go now and compare it to the first. Did you see a reduction in vapour, or even better yet, nothing at all?

Method Three:

With this method as you take your toke on your e-cig, as you hold the vape in your lungs you need to swallow. After having done this you will exhale slowly through your nose

Try this method now. What did you notice?

No matter whether you mouth inhale or lung inhale or which method works best for you, having tried it, you'll see that stealth-mode vaping works. I'm currently vaping with a sub ohm set up and found that using method two I produced no visible vapour. But, using this kind of set up even stealth vaping is gonna be pretty difficult to do simply because of the size of it. So with size in mind let's look at The best ecig set up you can use for stealth mode vaping.

What you're gonna need first is a small battery. We recommend the little dual threaded eGo 350mAh. In this photo it is standing beside a standard 650mAh. See how dinky it is.

Accommodating atomisation devices which use either an eGo or 510 thread connection, with a fully charged power output of 3.7 volts it's more than capable of running a decent clearomiser.

The Aspire BVC CE5 or the Kanger Mini Protank II will provide dynamite vape satisfaction whilst keeping your stealth vaping set up small enough to conceal cupped inside even a small and delicate hand.

Talking of concealment, I did laugh when the other day when a friend and I were discussing stealth-vaping. She told me when at work (she does exhibitions for her company) she keeps her eCig either in her bra (!) or on a lanyard under her blouse and then with a pashmina or scarf on she'll tuck her chin down inside and stealth vape. Others I've spoken to pull their sleeve down over their hand to cloak their device...I'd say experiment a bit and just use whatever works best for you (and what you are wearing)!

As summer is approaching and you'll be thinking about preparing for your holiday, at Exhale we've created a discount code to help you get equipped for your stealth vaping and will save you 15% of your order value.

Coupon code STEALTH is available for use only until June 15th and is limited to 2 uses per customer.
