One of my 70’s school day favourites; a crumbly shortcrust pastry base spread with raspberry jam, into which is sprinkled toasted desiccated coconut. This is topped with a generous layer of creamy custard dusted with icing sugar. Seconds please mum!
PINK GLAZED DOUGHNUT
Freshly fried light-as-you-like doughnut crowned with a sticky-sweet raspberry and strawberry infused icing. Mum‘s even added to it a generous ‘heart‘ of lip-licking gooey jam.
More of mum’s rich & creamy custard set off by the tartness of fresh raspberries then drizzled with sweet sweet raspberry coulis.
A crumbly and buttery biscuit base underneath an indulgent thick layer of creamed cheese into which has been laced a naught but oh-so sweet strawberry Jus.
